today, i'm 26.

i'm getting up there people.  i'm no longer in my lower twenties.  ha!  i know i shouldn't complain, i'm actually happy to be getting older and wiser.  the pressure is just greater to get my life going in terms of homes and babies.  i am becoming more and more the woman i want to be and i feel more prepared to bring another person into our family.

i have already been incredibly spoiled this birthday.  birthday week started saturday night with dinner at market street with my family and i got the most beautiful white dishes from crate and barrel from my parents.  on sunday night we celebrated with isaac's family and my mother-in-law made my favorite pork tacos and the yummiest chocolate cream pie.  the highlight of the night was getting this teal kitchen cart from ikea from my in-laws.  i can't wait to fill it with all my favorite things!  spoiled, spoiled, spoiled.

isaac has some surprises planned for me today, i can't wait to see what he has in store!  birthdays are the best, aren't they?!  i hope you have a fabulous january 7th.
